Welcome to Year 3!

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to Year 3. This is an exciting stage in your child's learning journey as they continue their transition into Key Stage 2 and embrace new challenges, opportunities and responsibilities.

Our curriculum is designed to engage, inspire and motivate children through a wide range of exciting learning experiences. Throughout the year, pupils will develop their knowledge and skills across all areas of the curriculum, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Computing, Art, Music and Physical Education. We encourage children to be curious learners, ask questions, think creatively and develop confidence in their abilities.

As children become more independent learners, they will be supported to build resilience, work collaboratively with others and take pride in their achievements. We will also continue to develop strong reading, writing and mathematical skills that provide the foundation for future success.

We value the partnership between home and school and recognise the important role that families play in supporting children's learning. By working together, we can ensure that every child feels happy, confident and successful throughout the year.
